PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint construction and a joint method for segments to be lined which are capable of jointing segments to be jointed reliably and easily and also capable of repairing and strongly jointing both the segments at a low cost after they have been deviated. SOLUTION: A segment main body 2 having a circular arc disc shape and one end face 21 along the peripheral direction of the segment main body 2 are equipped with pin members 4, 4A provided so as to extend in axial direction and a cap member 6 is equipped so as to extend in the axial direction at the other end face 22 along the peripheral direction of the segment main body 2 in the configuration. A pin member 4 is constituted in an externally fittable manner to a rod-shaped body 40 by coupling with a pin member 4A provided in the same manner to other segment main body 2A being adjacent to the segment main body 2 in the peripheral direction. Also, when the cap member 6 is externally fitted to the pin member 4, the pin members 4, 4A are mutually pulled nearer.
