PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate the presence or no presence of danger of the breakage of a panel caused by thermal stress producing by temperature difference between a display part and a non-display part of the panel.;SOLUTION: A heater part 31 compulsorily applying heat to the panel 11 or a supporting member of the panel 11 is installed, and the thermal stress caused by heat generating by displaying an assumed image is reproduced to realize the evaluation of the panel.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
