PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a real-time self-difference position recognizing system in a local area of simple constitution capable of reducing a position-recognizing error.;SOLUTION: This position recognition system is provided with a simplified reference station 10 including a reference GPS receiver 11, of which the position is preliminarily measured, a mobile station 30 including a mobile station GPS receiver 31 for conducting position measurement through a satellite, and the first radio modem 32 for transmitting a GPS signal constituted of a position information from the mobile station GPS receiver and satellite time information, and a central control center 40 including the second radio modem 43 for conducting radio communication in a close distance with the first radio modem 32, a server 41 for position recognition, and a central control server 42. The central control server 42 calculates information as to an error-corrected actual position of the mobile station based on a correction value calculated by the server 41 for the position recognition, and the position information of the mobile station in the GPS signal received from the mobile station 30.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
