PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce man-hours for maintaining a load module which is generated in the past by enhancing quality in generating the load module being generated at present.;SOLUTION: A load module generating device is provided with a linkage editing means 11 for fetching a usage library to be selectively used in each project, performing linkage editing while generating a symbol table where the library name and version information are arrayed and generating the load module, a usage library information extracting means 12 for extracting the library name of the usage library and version information from the symbol table and adopting it as usage library information of the load module and a usage information database updating means 13 for adding and arraying usage information which comprises a load module generation date and a project name in accordance with usage library information and generating and updating a library usage information database which is common to the whole projects.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
