PURPOSE: To eliminate the need for a column having a large cross section, and to reduce construction cost by disposing tensile columns and compressive columns, in which the degree of fixing is ensured, in upright at the positions of both end sections of a large-span girder and connecting and bearing girders to these columns. ;CONSTITUTION: Pairs of internal compressive columns 3 and external tensile columns 4 vertically erected on foundation sections 5, 5 are disposed in upright in a frame 1 by a large span framing method, and a girder 2 is connected through the pin connecting sections 2a of the girder 2 in the end sections 20, 20 of the external tensile columns 4 and the internal compressive columns 3. Foundation steel frames 6, 6 are arranged among the compressive columns 3 and the tensile columns 4, and the degrees of fixing of the foundation sections 5 and the compressive columns 3 and the tensile columns 4 are made sure. Accordingly, the end sections of the girder 2 are borne by the compressive columns 3 and the tensile columns 4, vertical load from the girder 2 is received by the compressive columns 3, and the tensile columns 4 have charge of tensile force applied from the outside, thus reducing the cross sections of columns bearing the girder 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
