PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover capable of preventing chips from scattering regardless of the oscillation, having the small surrounding range, and capable of easily recovering the chips, in a bevel gear cutting device for cutting a curved tooth by dry processing using no coolant while relatively oscillating a tool holder and a work holding tool.;SOLUTION: A rotational cover 34 and a slide cover 38 which are mechanically displaced with the oscillation of a tool holder 16 and the movement of a work holding tool 22 in cutting for a curved tooth are arranged on a fixed cover 30, and a part of an opening part 54 of the fixed cover 30 is blocked to prevent chips from scattering while avoiding interference of the work holding tool 22 and a gear material 20.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
