PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a large and small comparator circuit capable of executing large and small comparison at high speed.;SOLUTION: The large and small comparator circuit is constituted of a noncoincidence detecting circuit to detect noncoincidence among bit values of the respective digits, a retrieving circuit to retrieve the bit which becomes noncoincident first by output of the noncoincidence detecting circuit, a selecting circuit to select a value of the digit which becomes noncoincident first as a retrieval result and a judging circuit to judge large and small from output of the retrieval circuit and the selecting circuit.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
