PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controlling method of the quantity assurance for counting, collating and ensuring the predetermined amount for each of rolled printed matter such as stamps, revenue stamps and certificate stamps, and the mechanism thereof.;SOLUTION: In this controlling method of the quantity assurance in a finishing process of rolled printed matter such as stamps, revenue stamps and certificate stamps, and the mechanism thereof, the inspection light is flooded at a punched line in the direction orthogonal to the flow direction from one side of a roll paper before it is cut, presence/absence of any punched line is checked by a light receiving unit installed on the other side thereof, the pass number of the punched lines is counted. After the roll paper is cut, the inspection light is flooded at the punched line in the direction orthogonal to the flow line from one side of a strip-like printed part at the position immediately before the rolling as a plurality of divided strip-like printed matter, presence/absence of the punched line is checked by a light receiving unit installed on the other side of the strip-like printed matter, the pass number of the punched lines is counted, and the number of products counted before the cutting is collated with the number of products counted after the cutting.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
