PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fumigation device which hardly transmits the heat generated when fumigation to the outside, especially prevents the temperature rise of the bottom of a container, does not need to be put on an ashtray, when the fumigation, does not damage a flooring material, when placed on the flooring material, and thereby is easy to use.;SOLUTION: This fumigation device comprises a fumigant composition- receiving container having an opening in the upper portion and an outer container disposed so as to surround the lateral side and bottom side of the container. The upper end of the fumigant composition-receiving container is connected to the upper end of the outer container. An ignition tool for starting the fumigation is held in the upper portion of the fumigant composition-receiving container, and a smoking plate for blowing out the produced smoke to the outside is attached to the fumigant composition-receiving container. A bottom side member is attached to the bottom portion of the outer container. Therein, the fumigation device is designated so that the temperature of the bottom surface of the bottomed outer container is ≤80°C on the fumigation.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
