PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reamer that can finish a spindle hole cut, for example, in an aluminum baseplate for a hard disk drive(HDD) spindle motor to severe requisite precision by suppressing workpiece deflection and contraction of the diameter of the hole due to elastic reversion after machining.;SOLUTION: A cutting edge tip 4 is brazed to the peripheral point of a cylindrical shank 2.
