PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-screen display device that can enhance the visibility of a character area and multi-screen indication of a data broadcast program for users without disturbing the 'uniqueness of displayed image' of a data broadcast image intended by broadcast enterprises in the case of displaying the data broadcast image as one image pattern of the multi-screen display. SOLUTION: The multi-screen display device discriminates an area of a teletext broadcast part in a reduced display of a data broadcast image pattern and displays it with focus so as to allow a user to easily understand the presence of the teletext part and displays the teletext area with magnification up to the original size when the user uses a remote commander 20 to select the focused part. Furthermore, the color of the focused image is matched with the color of a remote commander with a color button stipulated by the ARIB(Association of Radio Industries and Businesses) to allow the user to operate the unified remote commander button for the remote commander operation and the operation for the data broadcast image when the data broadcast image is reduced.
