PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a processed wheat bran product having excellent texture or flavor and improved unpleasant odor and a food containing wheat bran having excellent texture or flavor and improved unpleasant odor. SOLUTION: This method for producing a processed wheat bran product comprises obtaining a mixture having 20-50 wt.% of water content and 5-50 wt.% of carbohydrate content based on the whole weight by adding water and arbitrarily farina and/or starch to wheat bran and crushing the mixture by a hand-type mill.
