PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide Cr-containing Fe-based alloy powder excellent in the fluidity and from which a dense sintered body having high oxidation resistance is obtained even in the case the density of the compact is slightly poor.;SOLUTION: The content of powder grains which a grain size of 44 μm is 50 mass%, the content of powder grains with a grain size of 180 μm is 2 mass%, Fe is used as the essential component, Cr is contained in the range of 15 to 25 mass%, and also, Si is contained in the range of 0.5 to 3 mass%. The powder grains are produced by a water atomizing stage. The molten metal in a tundish is introduced into a high speed jet flow jetted with water by a high pressure pump, is made into decomposed grains and is rapidly solidified with cooling water.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
