METHOD FOR CORRECTING LOCAL COLORING DISORDER CAUSED BY MACHINE IN ROTARY PRESS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which investigates the inking behavior of a printing unit by using a test plate, detects the coloring nonuniformity by the test plate, and transmits data on the coloring nonuniformity to a printing pre- stage and a method for correcting the mesh gradation value of the color resolution plate of a plate so that the coloring nonuniformity is considered locally in advance on the plate or a printing film during printing.;SOLUTION: First, the inking behavior of the printing unit of a multicolor printing rotary press is investigated by using the test plate. The coloring nonuniformity of the test plate is transmitted to the printing pre-stage. By using data on the coloring nonuniformity of the test plate, the mesh gradation value of the color dissolution plate of the plate so that the coloring nonuniformity is considered locally in advance on the plate or the printing film depending on the generation place during printing.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
