SLURRY STORAGE DEVICE AND SUPERCOOLED WATER UTILIZING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for operating a slurry storage tank by using desupercooled ice which is suitable for food cold storage. SOLUTION: A supercooled water utilizing system utilizes cold water in a storage tank which stores mixed slurry of ice obtained by bringing supercooled water of =-1.0 deg.C in temperature into collision with a desupercooling section and supplied water for food cold storage. The packing ratio of the slurry in the tank is set to a seasonal mode based on the ice making operating time and, in addition, at least the water supply mode on a food cold storage process side is selected to either an automatic mode or manual mode in accordance with the seasonal mode. This system is provided with a control valve which introduces the cold water in the storage tank to a supercooler by preheating the water to =0 deg.C by means of a preheater positioned on the upstream side of the supercooler on a supercooled water circulating route through which the supercooled water is supplied and, at the same time, controls the evaporative pressure of a freezing cycle introduced to the supercooler.
