PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass fiber reinforced thermosetting resin molding excellent in soldering heat resistance, a prepreg for manufacturing the glass fiber reinforced thermosetting resin molding, a glass fiber base material for manufacturing the prepreg which has excellent impregnating property with a thermosetting resin and a surface treating agent for the glass fiber base material which is suitable for manufacturing the glass fiber base material and is excellent in stability of its aqueous solution. SOLUTION: This invention is related to the surface treating agent for the glass fiber base material consisting essentially of a (carba)silatrane derivative expressed by general formula (1), its partial hydrolysis condensate or their mixture, the glass fiber base material a surface of which is treated by the surface treating agent, the prepreg manufactured by impregnating the glass fiber base material with the thermosetting resin and the glass fiber reinforced thermosetting resin molding obtained by subjecting the prepreg to thermal setting....(1).
