PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified polypropylene fiber for treating a glass fiber, giving a molded article remarkably improved in its vibration fatigue strength, a surface-treated glass fiber and fiber-reinforced polypropylene-based resin. PSOLUTION: This modified polyolefin-based resin for treating the glass fiber is provided with that (1) its amount extracted by boiling methyl ethyl ketone is ≤8 mass%, (2) its number-average molecular weight (Mn) measured by a gas permeation chromatography (GPC) is 6,000-48,000 and (3) the amount of added acid measured by a Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy is within 0.1-12 mass% range. The surface-treated glass fiber treated with an acid-modified polyolefin-based resin, the surface-treated glass fiber-containing long fiber-reinforced polyolefin-based resin pellets and a molded article containing the same are also provided.
