PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shrink-resistant finishing agent for keratin fiber, capable of being enough resinated with a non-chlorine-based compound only by heating in a drying process, when the keratin fiber in a top, roving or yarn state is subjected to shrink-resistant finishing, having shrink-resistant performance with excellent washing durability, and capable of maintaining a feel characteristic of the keratin fiber, and to provide a shrink-resistant finishing method by using the same.;SOLUTION: This shrink-resistant finishing agent for the keratin fiber contains a water-soluble thermally-reactive urethane prepolymer obtained by reacting one part of free isocyanate groups of a urethane prepolymer with an active hydrogen-containing compound so as to introduce hydrophilic groups into the prepolymer and blocking the other part of the free isocyanate groups with a blocking agent which regenerates the isocyanate groups by heat treatment.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
