RETURN OIL PASSAGE STRUCTURE OF LUBRICATING OIL FOR JOURNALING CRANKSHAFT IN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily mold a return oil passage when lubricating oil after lubricating a bearing for journaling a crankshaft is made to flow into a crank chamber through the return oil passage, and to prevent enlargement of the outer shape of a crankcase even in such case.;SOLUTION: A journaling hole 17 for passing one end 7 of the crankshaft 4 is molded in one end 15 of the crankcase 2. The inner peripheral surface of the journaling hole 17 is provided with a bearing 18 for journaling one end 7 of the crankshaft 4 so that the crankshaft 4 is rotatable about the core 6 of the crankshaft 4. A cover body 32 for covering the journaling hole 17 and the bearing 18 from the outside of one end 15 of the crankcase 2 is provided. The return oil passage 38 capable of supplying the lubricating oil 29 to the bearing 18 and making the lubricating oil 29 after the lubrication of the bearing 18 flow into the crank chamber 3 is provided. The return oil passage 38 is molded so as to penetrate from the end surface of one end 7 of the crankshaft 4 through a space 40 between both crank arms 10 and 10.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
