PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for extracting the included component of Alpinia speciosa K. Schum capable of attaining an improvement in its performance by effectively extracting the included component from the primary body of Alpinia speciosa K. Schum and bringing the component to present in the extract solution in a stable state and obtain an Alpinia speciosa K. Schum-derived product produced by the method. SOLUTION: This method for extracting the included component of Alpinia speciosa K. Schum is to homogeneously dissolve or stably disperse 0.01-10 wt.% surfactant in water or a mixture of water with a water soluble solvent capable of bonding with water in hydrogen bonds to obtain a solution, impregnate the Alpinia speciosa K. Schum in the solution and stand for at 10-150 deg.C or mix, agitate and shake to mutually contact.
