ODOR FORECASTING METHOD OF POLYOLEFINE BASED RESIN MOLDED PRODUCT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and stably forecast odors of molded products obtained by analyzing polyolefine based resin materials and then, molding it.;SOLUTION: In the method, the polyolefine based resin materials are added into an extracted solvent and heated to extract low molecular components in the polyolefine based resin materials into the solvent. The odors of the products comprising the polyolefine based resin materials are forecast from any one of the content of the low molecular components or the quantity of a specified structure contained in the low molecular components. The extracted solvent herein used is the one with the boiling point above the melting point of the polyolefine based resin materials. The method is suitable for the forecasting of odors especially about a resin, at least a part of which is a crystal substance.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
