PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curve drawing method and curve drawing device capable of precisely performing the segment approximation of a curve with an arithmetic quantity smaller than in the past to performing the drawing, and a storage medium with curve drawing program stored therein.;SOLUTION: This method comprises acquiring the control point line of a Bezier curve, segment-approximating the Bezier curve by use of the acquired control point line, and performing the drawing of the approximated polygonal line data. In the segment approximation, whether subdivision is performed or not is evaluated, and the curve concerned is subdivided only when the necessity of subdivision is evaluated. The segment approximation is recursively executed. The evaluation uses the chord length estimated value of the Bezier curve as evaluation reference.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
