PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling control system for an automatically driven rolling stock capable of easily eliminating delay of the rolling stock without especially changing a diagram.;SOLUTION: This traveling control system is used for the automatically driven rolling stock that travels by automatic traveling operation on a predetermined course while stopping at each station. The system comprises a departure timing determining means for determining a departure timing of the automatically driven rolling stock at each station, a departure command control means for commanding the automatically driven rolling stock to depart at the departure timing determined by the departure timing determining means at each station, and a traveling planning means for determining a speed pattern when the rolling stock travels to the next station based on a time determined from the departure timing and an expected reach time in the next station. The automatically driven rolling stock departs in response to the departure command from the departure command control means, and travels to the next station, while being controlled in traveling in response to the speed pattern determined by the traveling planning means.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
