PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurence of an accident by announcing the approach of a rolling stock in its early stage to a railway maintenance operator of a railway rolling stock by installing a vibration pickup sensor on a rail by a magnet. ;SOLUTION: A vibration sensor 32 by a vibration pickup sensor is directly installed on a rail 31 by using a magnet to detect vibration of the rail 31 generated by the arrival of a railway rolling stock by the vibration sensor 32. This detecting signal is sent out to a warning device via a signal wire connected to a connector to actuate a loudspeaker 33 and a warning light 34 of the warning device to give a warning to a railway maintenance operator. Or the detecting signal of the vibration sensor 32 is outputted to a computer of the nearest station monitoring room, a factory car shed and a centralized control room. Thus, by constituting so as to automatically give a warning for the approach of the railway rolling stock by a sound volume and the light, even if there are an oversight and a laspe of memory of a timetable in a commanding supervisor, the warning can be simultaneously given to all the members to prevent the occurrence of an accident.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
