PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suede-like artificial leather having a bacteriostatic ability, soft feeling and an elegant appearance. SOLUTION: This suede-like artificial leather having a bacteriostatic ability is a sheet having a fuzzy microfiber layer connected with a base layer of the microfiber on the surface of a fibrous base layer consisting of a three dimensionally entangled nonwoven fabric of the mcirofiber having 0.0001-0.4 decitex monofilament denier and a porous structure of an elastic polymer in the entangled space and contains 1-20 wt.% of a compound expressed by general formula (1) (wherein M expresses a divalent metal) based on the fibrous base.
