PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical radial scanning forward-looking type ultrasonic endoscope in which a hard front end part of an inserted part is constructed as short as possible.;SOLUTION: The plurality of flexible boards 43 that transmit input and output signals in and out of an ultrasonic probe 4 are arranged outstretched from rear side of the ultrasonic probe 4. A through hole 37 of the flexible board with an arc shaped cross section which puts through the flexible boards 43 is formed in an axial direction of the front end part of the main body 3 and a wiring of the flexible board 43 is connected with a signal cable 47 arranged through an insert part 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
