PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical radial scanning forward-looking type ultrasonic endoscope in which a hard front end part of an inserted part is constructed as short as possible.;SOLUTION: A plurality of flexible boards 43 that transmit input and output signals in and out of an ultrasonic probe 4 are arranged in an arc shape around an axial line of the ultrasonic probe 4 to put through the front end main body 3. A liquid pass 38 that passes through a balloon 100 is arranged at a position where the arc is extended in peripheral direction and the flexible board 43 is not arranged.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
