PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of selecting only a selected portion specifically and surely from a sample arranged on a carrier.;SOLUTION: This method for selecting the one portion from the sample is provided with (a) a process for arranging the sample on the carrier to interpose a substance having a photolysis action therebetween, (b) a process for selecting the specified portion as to the sample arranged on the carrier, (c) a process for irradiating the substance having the photolysis action contacting with the specified portion, and (d) a process for fractionating the specified portion by the fractionation means to select the one portion from the sample.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
