PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device and a developer quantity detection system, by which a user is informed of the same developer quantity at any time while neglecting the variation of the detection values detected by a developer quantity detector when a device is a new one or at an initial using stage so that the user may not feel uneasy.;SOLUTION: In the case of detecting the developer quantity by using the detection value detected by a developer quantity detecting means, it is unconditionally judged that a developer container is filled with the developer in the case the used developer quantity is small in the developer container, and it is displayed that 100% of the developer remains.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
