METHOD FOR CULTURING YOUNG LEAF OF RICE PLANT AND RICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently harvest young leaves of rice plants containing nutrients richly and at the same time obtain rice of high quality. SOLUTION: A method for culturing young leaves of a rice plant and rice is carried out as follows: the young leaves 2 of the upper part of rice plant 1 in the tiller stage before the heading time are reaped and harvested; and at the same time young leaves 2 are allowed to grow from the cut face of the stub side of the rice plant which is not reaped and remains, and used as a culturing bed 3, and the stub side is allowed to transit to the ripening period during which grains are formed.
