PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate square steel pipe columns into two groups with large and small plate thicknesses thereby permitting wide application of common square type thickness cores and reducing the kinds of the forms (outer diameter r) of four corners of square thickness cores, and then to realize the connections between the columns and beams by non-diaphragm method offering excellent efficiency economy.;SOLUTION: Dimension of the outer diameter r at four corners of a square type thick core 10 having the same outer diameter as that of a square type steel pipe column 5 is formed smaller than the dimension of the outer diameter R at four corners of the square type steel pipe column and then protruded.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
