PURPOSE: To provide a structure less interfered with finishing members than a plane-shaped external diaphragm, in a column penetration construction of the connection of a square steel pipe column or square steel pipe concrete column with H-shaped steel structure beams. ;CONSTITUTION: On the upper and lower surfaces of the flanges at the one end of an H-shaped steel structure beam 4, vertical reinforcement members 2 are welded so as to symmetrically form the shape of an unfolded fan in plan view. By welding the outer vertical end of each of the vertical reinforcement members 2 to the corner of a square steel pipe column 1, the H-shaped steel structure beam 4 is joined to the square steel pipe column 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
