PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a conventional amplitude phase controller having an optional adaptive algorithm using a self-decision symbol for a reference value that has had higher possibility of error propagation because a decision error gives effect on succeeding control on the occurrence of the decision error even once and has considerably deteriorated the communication quality because of consecutive bit errors.;SOLUTION: The adaptive amplitude phase controller is provided with a coefficient estimate device adopting an optional adaptive algorithm, a displacement calculation section calculates a displacement of an estimate coefficient per unit obtained by the coefficient estimate device, and when the amplitude of a received signal is less than a preset threshold, integrating this displacement obtains the estimate coefficient.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
