An infant pet image when the degree of view interest is low or a grown pet image as the degree of view interest gets higher is extracted from a pet image list 32. A control section 9 generates a synthesized pet image 33 on the basis of information of the extracted pet image, gives the result to an AV decoder, superimposes the composited pet image on a program signal as soon as a program is broadcast, and a display device 10 displays the resulting signal.
