PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a device and small in size and low in power consumption by informing a receiver of the incoming of an electronic mail for easy to a user according to E-mail importance which is predetermined by a transmitter and simplifying the information processing. SOLUTION: A radio signal receiving part 101 receives a radio signal, and a mail-receiving part 102 receives E mail control information from the received radio signal. An importance extraction part 103 extracts importance information showing the level of importance of the E mail from the received E mail control information and a level-deciding part 104 decides the level of importance from the extracted importance information. An incoming tone selection part 106 and an incoming volume selection part 107 respectively select incoming tone information and incoming volume, corresponding to the decided level from an incoming tone storage part 105 and an incoming tone reproducing part 108 reproduces selected incoming tone information, on the basis of the selected incoming volume information.
