PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic ticket checking system convenient for a cane holder and to provide a cane and an automatic ticket checking machine usable for this system.;SOLUTION: This automatic ticket checking system 100 is provided with a non-contact type pass 25 arranged in the cane 20 and an automatic ticket checking machine 10 performing radio communication with the non-contact type pass 25. The automatic ticket checking machine 20 performing radio communication with the non-contact type pass 25 in a ticket checking gate or in a ticket checking passage so as to decide whether the holder 30 of the cane 20 is allowed to pass or not on the basis of the result of the radio communication. In the cane 20, the non-contact type pass 25 is arranged in a grip 21 part or its vicinity.
