PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical score sales system using the Internet which is not against a music copyright law which permits downloading only once with respect to a single request concerning the purchase of musical scores.;SOLUTION: A user 1 accesses the home page of a home page operating secretariat 2 from a user terminal 10 to select a musical score to be purchased. When inputting purchase requesting contents and user information to an input form on the home page from the terminal 10, inputted data is stored in a database 35 on a Web server 30. A secretariat terminal 20 accesses and checks the purchase requesting contents and user information in the database 35 and transmits to a Web server 30 the downloading request of a musical score file the purchase of which is requested, to a musical score file secretariat terminal 20. The server 30 fetches the musical score from the database to download it to the terminal 20, which attaches this musical score PDF(Portable Document Format) file to an electronic mail to transmit it to the terminal 10.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
