Polymerizable compositions from novel monomers that correspond to the formula: ;in which:;Z represents H or CH₃ and X represents O or S, and;Y is a 5- to 8-membered heterocycle consisting of hydrogen, carbon and sulphur atoms and at least two endocyclic sulphur atoms.
