The screw (5) is secured to a conveyor frame (4) at one end and supported above the transport surface (1) at the opposite end. The conveyor frame is suspended from a rail (7) extending at right angles to the screw, along which the frame and therefore the screw can be moved on at least eight support wheels using a drive mechanism.
