A reflective mixed-mode twisted pneumatic liquid crystal display device (5) comprising polarizing means (3), a twisted pneumatic liquid crystal cell and reflecting means, wherein a twist angle is between 73o and 79o, a polarizer angle between an alignment direction of a front surface of the liquid crystal cell and a polarization axis of the polarizing means is between 15o and 21o, and a retardation value is between 0.22 mm and 0.28 mm, the retardation value being defined as a product of cell gap and birefringence of the liquid crystal cell.
