The invention relates to a method of enhancement of bone tissue formation and/or of removal of the late post-surgical complications. The method of enhancement of bone tissue formation and/or of removal of the late post-surgical complications comprises the administration to a pacient subjected to bone surgery, before and/or after the afore-mentioned intervention, of a compound having the formula (1): where X is H, OH Cl, F or a methyl group and Y is Cl, OH, -(CH2)2-N(CH3)-(CH2)4-CH3, -CH2)n-CH3, or -(CH3)n-NH2, where n is zero or an integer from 1 to 8, -NHZ, where Z is pyridinyl or cycloheptyl, -SZ' where Z' is pyridinyl or phenyl substituted with chlorine or Y is a catenary of lower alkyl substituted with the pyridinyl radical or of a salt or of an ester of it, non-toxic, pharmaceutically accepted, in a daily dose in a range from 0.01 to 100 mg/kg body weight, the treatment beginning preferably before the surgical intervention and preferably for a period between 1...6 months.
