Process for preparing an active complex with hemostatic, antiseptic, antidiarrheal and antioxidant effects from the ligneous part of the plant Rosa canina, characterized in that one part of the vegetable material is subjected to a successive extraction with 5...8 parts of alcohol of 50 degree , 3...7 parts of alcohol of 30 degree and 2...6 parts of water, the parts being expressed by weight, the partial extracts being further concentrated, after being put together up to a content of at least 5% dry substance, atomization adjuvants being added, 100...300% lactin and 5...200% aerosil in relation to the amount of extracted dry substance, and finally to atomization, the extract dried by atomization and standardized at a minimum content of 350 mg of total polyphenols expressed as pyrocatechin and 500 mg of tannin expressed as tannic acid being conditionable, by adding suitable adjuvants, as granules, tablets, ointments or suppositories.
