The invention concerns herbicides containing: A) at least one compound selected from the group comprising substituted phenylsulphonyl ureas of general formula (I) and their agriculturally acceptable salts, wherein R1 designates (C1-C8) alkyl, (C3-C4) alkenyl, (C3-C4) alkinyl or (C1-C4) alkyl which is substituted between one and four times by radicals selected from the group comprising halogen and (C1-C2) alkoxy; and B) at least one herbicidal compound selected from the group of compounds consisting of: Ba) herbicides which are selectively active against grasses in cereals; Bb) herbicides which are selectively active against dicotyledons in cereals; Bc) herbicides which are selectively active against grasses and dicotyledons in cereals; and Bd) herbicides which are non-selectively active on uncultivated land or in permanent cultivation (plantations) and/or are selectively active against unwanted grasses and weeds in transgenic cultivation.
