The present invention is a network systemof radio base stations comprising base stationsprovided in a plurality of cells and a controlstation controlling the base stations, in which thebase stations and the control station are connectedby optical fibers using a wavelength multiplexingtransmission method, wherein: the base stationcomprises a variable-wavelength transmitter fortransmitting an optical signal having apredetermined wavelength, and an optical coupler forcombining optical signals from thevariable-wavelength transmitter in order totransmit the optical signals using the wavelengthmultiplexing transmission method, the controlstation comprises a plurality of optical receiversfor receiving wavelengths of the optical signalstransmitted using the wavelength multiplexingtransmission method, and an optical coupler forsplitting the wavelength-multiplexed opticalsignals transmitted from the base stations into theoptical receivers by wavelength, and when the radiocommunication terminal communicating with the basestation moves and changes the base station tocommunicate with, a new base station whichcommunicates with the radio communication terminalafter a movement of the radio communication terminalcontrols the wavelength of the variable-wavelengthtransmitter, and then transmits the optical signalsto the control station with the same wavelength asone used for transmitting by a previous base stationwhich communicates with the radio communicationterminal before the movement.
