A preparation or system for inhibiting the development ofmalignant tumors and the formation of metastases of malignanttumor cells comprises a first composition comprising an agentselected from the group consisting of histamine, analogs thereofhaving H2-receptor activities, endogenous histamine releasingpreparations and H2-receptor agonists, and a second compositioncomprising IL-2, said first and second compositions being eithermixed in a preparation or provided in separate doses in an amountsufficient for treatment of tumors and metastases of malignanttumor cells.
