The present invention discloses a new polypeptide- human zinc finger protein 12.98, the polynucleotide encoding it and a method producing the polypeptide by DNA recombinant technology. The present invention further discloses a method of the polypeptide for treating various disorders, e.g., various tumor, nervous system disorder, hemopathy, developmental disorder etc.. The present invention also discloses an antagonist of the polypeptide and its therapeutic action.
