A circuit includes at least one negative differential resistance (NDR) device (RTD1) and at least one magnetic device (MR1) having reversibly variable resistance, wherein the negative differential resistance device (RTD1) and the magnetic device (MR1) are operatively connected so that changing the resistance of the magnetic device (MR1) changes the current-voltage response characteristics of the circuit. NDR devices (RTD1, RTD2) and magnetic devices (MR1, MR2) can be arranged to form multiple value logic (MVL) cells and monostable-bistable logic elements (MOBILE).
