ERGONOMIC DIVER'S HELMET IN TWO SEPARABLE PARTS WITH MOUTHPIECE CHANGE SYSTEM

The invention concerns an ergonomic helmet in two separable parts with mouthpiece change system providing the diver with a minimum clearance. The front (1) and rear (2) parts are connected by an anchorage point fixing system (21-22) and eccentric closure (10). The tightness of the helmet after it has been closed is provided by a cord forming a ring type joint (24). When the helmet has been fixed, the diver folds down the collar of his sealed diving suit on the grooved ring (8) forming the helmet base. A clamping ring (25) completes the assembly. The mouthpiece change system mounted on the helmet enables to change the regulator or the breathing circuit at will, if a recirculation unit is used. The system consists of two parts: the male part (12) fixed on the regulator or the breathing apparatus, the female part (6), integral with the helmet. Once connected, the two parts are locked with a bayonet pin (7-16) so as to prevent any ill-timed disconnection.
