The present invention relates to a new polypeptide useful for the treatment of metastatic disease, and more particularly of prostate cancer.;This polypeptide is of about 15 to about 30 amino acids, and corresponds to the protein fragment which is encoded by the 5' end of the tumor suppressor gene CHC1-L.;The present invention also relates to a nucleotide sequence encoding for said polypeptide and vector, host cell and pharmaceutical composition including said polypeptide or nucleotide sequence.;It is also an object of the present invention to develop a new method, and the corresponding kit, for the prostate in vitro diagnosis.
