NANOCHAIN OF BUNDLED CARBON MOLECULES USEFUL FOR HYDROGEN STORAGE

A process and resulting composition is disclosed directed to a bundle of linear carbon chain molecules generated during high temperature gaseous phases on a metal alloy catalyst. The resulting bundle of chain molecules possesses a high surface area and is useful for the adsorption of hydrogen at levels of at least about 20 percent by weight.
